As part of the Archdiocese of Newark's New Energies Initiative, since 2007 the four cluster parishes of West Essex (St. Aloysius, Notre Dame, Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament and St. Thomas More) have collaborated on an adult education and formation forum held each year during Lent.

Kathleen Detlet, D. Min.: Co-Director of the Lumen Center and is on the Sacred Thread Ministries Retreat Team. Kathy enjoys offering retreats, days of prayer and journeying with others as a spiritual guide.
March 15: Egypt, Babylon and New Jersey: the Biblical Story of God’s People in Exile
Fr. Douglas J. Milewski: Doctorate in Sacred Theology, Lateran University in Rome, specializing in the Theology of the Church Fathers. He teaches in Undergraduate Theology Program and the University Honors Program at Seton Hall University.
March 22: A Journey to the Holy Land – “A Pilgrimage of Peace”
Fr. Anthony Randazzo: Earned his License in Sacred Theology, Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome. Currently Pastor at Holy Trinity, but best known to us for the years he served at Notre Dame, N. Caldwell.
March 29: A Spirit of Penance, During Lent and Beyond
Rev. Lynx J. M. Soliman: Received a Masters in Divinity and in Systematic Theology at Seton Hall University. He is looking forward to the mission the Lord has in store for him at Saint Aloysius.
