Faith Formation"To fall in love with God is the greatest romance; to seek Him, the greatest adventure; to find Him, the greatest human achievement." - St Augustine of Hippo Our Faith Formation program aims to help our children and youth deepen their Catholic faith in daily living, by teaching as Jesus did: spreading the Gospel through discipleship, service, prayer and teaching God’s message, in addition to sharing the traditions of the Catholic Church. We have in-seat classes on Sunday mornings, 8:50-9:50 AM, for grades 1 through 6, Monday afternoons, 3:45-4:45 PM, for grades 1 through 6, and Monday evenings, 7-8 PM, for grades 7 and 8. We also have home instruction/whole family catechesis available, with regular Mass attendance and two family workshops required. Please note: we will not be offering the Kindergarten Class this year, we are sorry for any misunderstanding or confusion. |

Penance PreparationFor the Sacrament of Reconciliation, our second-grade children use the Dynamic Catholic program “Blessed” for at-home preparation, in addition to attending a Retreat, with emphasis on the forgiveness and love of God. We begin in October, and Penance is received at a service in January. |
Eucharist PreparationFor the Sacrament of the Eucharist, the second graders of our Parish prepare throughout the year to receive their First Communion in the Spring. We use the Dynamic Catholic Series “Blessed” for at-home preparation, attend a Retreat in late winter and work with our Director of Music to learn a Communion song he will compose just for them! |
Confirmation PreparationFor the Sacrament of Confirmation, the ninth graders in our parish participate in meetings, community service projects, faith experience, penance, Mass attendance and a Retreat to strengthen their identity as a Catholic. |
