Religious Education Registration

Registration for new families will take place in the Religious Education Office on Monday – Thursday, in the office located at the end of the school building.

Please bring a copy of your child’s baptism certificate if they were not baptized at OLBS. If a child is transferring from another program, please bring documentation of sacraments received as well as a letter from the previous program to verify classes completed.

Please call the Religious Education office at 973-226-5251 to check office hours on the day you plan to register.

For the Sacrament of Reconciliation our young children attend several classes with emphasis on the forgiveness and love of God. They receive the Sacrament at a Penance Service with their parents during Advent.

Eucharist Preparation

For the Sacrament of Eucharist the second graders of our Parish prepare throughout the year to receive their First Communion in the Spring.

Confirmation Preparation

For the Sacrament of Confirmation the ninth graders in our parish participate in prayer groups, service projects, classes, and a retreat to strengthen their identity as a Catholic.
