Baptismal Preparation

The Sacrament of Baptism is typically celebrated after masses on the first Sunday of the month. However, arrangements can be made to celebrate baptism at a Sunday mass. Throughout the year there will be catechesis classes and discussion for this Sacrament with other new parents and a member of the pastoral staff. Please call the office at (973)226-5251 to register.

Penance Preparation

For the Sacrament of Reconciliation our young children attend several classes with emphasis on the forgiveness and love of God. They receive the Sacrament at a Penance Service with their parents during Advent. Contact the Religious Education Office at (973)226-5251 to register.

Eucharist Preparation

For the Sacrament of Eucharist the second graders of our Parish prepare throughout the year to receive their First Communion in the Spring. Contact the Religious Education Office at (973)226-5251 to register.

Confirmation Preparation

For the Sacrament of Confirmation the ninth graders in our parish participate in prayer groups, service projects, classes, and a retreat to strengthen their identity as a Catholic. Contact the Religious Education Office at (973)226-5251 to register.

Marriage Preparation

For the Sacrament of Matrimony an initial interview with one of our parish priests is required. Marriage preparation teams also help prepare couples for this Sacrament. Marriage preparation should begin one year before the marriage according to Catholic church policy in New Jersey. Contact the parish office at (973)226-7288.
